In March 25, 2019, I published my book “Ewig anders – schwarz, deutsch, Journalist.” It is a very personal book in which I describe my own experiences with racism, but it is also a non-fiction book in which I explain the mechanisms of discrimination and racist terms. On March 23, 2019, as part of the Leipzig Book Fair, I discussed the topic of “Integration” on the “Blue Sofa” in a “Blue Hour” along with other authors. The day before, I was a guest at an author talk at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, State Office Saxony, as part of Europe’s largest reading festival “Leipzig reads.”
