The nonprofit company Riff freie Medien gGmbH, which advocates for independent, high-quality journalism, launched the Pandemic Journalism Action Fund. The fund supports projects by qualified freelance journalists aimed at expert reporting on infection prevention and combating disinformation related to the coronavirus.

The shareholders of Riff gGmbH also approved funding for a proposal I submitted. My investigative project focuses on the influence of COVID-deniers and Querdenker activists on coronavirus-related entries in Wikipedia. The investigation and editorial quality assurance were funded by Riff freie Medien gGmbH with resources from the Dachstiftung within GLS Treuhand e. V..
